"Equus" 

In March 2011, Mary Papademas presented her distinguished collection "Equus" at the prestigious Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This exhibition marked a significant evolution in her contemporary artistic expression through both paintings and sculptures.

Papademas' deliberate incorporation of gold and silver leaf throughout the collection transcended mere decorative elements, functioning instead as profound symbols of strength and endurance within her artistic language. This thoughtful material selection added depth and resonance to her already compelling visual narrative.

The exhibition was honored with an inaugural ceremony led by His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of UAE. Demonstrating her commitment to social responsibility, Papademas directed a portion of the exhibition proceeds to the Future Centre for Special Needs Foundation, creating a meaningful connection between artistic expression and community support.
